2023 American Chesapeake Club
National Specialty Show
September 13 – 15, 2023
The American Chesapeake Club National Show Specialty is an annual dog show for Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. It is held in a different location each year and is open to all AKC registered Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. The show features a variety of events, including conformation, obedience, rally, and agility. There are also educational seminars and social events for owners and their dogs.
The American Chesapeake Club National Show Specialty is a great opportunity for Chesapeake Bay Retrievers to compete for titles and awards. It is also a chance for owners to learn more about the breed and meet other Chesapeake Bay Retriever enthusiasts.
We are excited to be hosting this years’ events at the Bastian Agricultural Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. This venue is approximately eight (8) minutes (1.2 miles) southwest of the host hotel which is the Hilton Home2 Suites. Go to the Lodging page for more information and a link to book your stay.

Once again this year, we will have a 2023 ACC NSS Cedar Run Decoy Fundraiser.

The decoy this year is the Bull Sprig Pintail.
There is a full decoy available, or there is a second option of a Bottle Topper.
We Need Your Help
It takes a big team to put on National Show Specialty.
We have a great core group of planners and workers, but we need more. If you have seen the schedule, you will see all of the different venues and each of those will need additional helpers.
No Experience Necessary!
