KC Owens is the Chair of the event.
For more information email KC or send a text to 801-598-2567.

As a member of the Chesapeake community, we’d love to invite you to join us!

However, it takes a lot of resources to put together these events. Would you please consider sponsoring a stake, any amount will help. The stakes are WD, WDX, and WDQ. With this help, we can assure we will have catalogs, worker lunches, birds, ribbons and water for all at the event.

We are also looking for help at all experience levels! We can train you the day of the event or the Monday practice day. Volunteers are needed for positions like marshals, bird wranglers, gunners, blind planters, lunch runners, etc. It takes a team and we would love for you to be a part of it.

“I personally want you all to know that like you, I love these brown curly clowns! What really lights my fire about them is when you get the chance to watch a dog that may have never experienced a bird in it’s life, reach down deep in it’s soul and recognize it’s instincts about natural hunting stuff! If you have never seen a good working field dog, we would love to show you this side of the Chesapeake Bay Retriever. If you already know about this side of our dogs, come out and make some new friends! THANK YOU so much for your support, and we hope to see you soon! — KC Owens”
